It is a good idea to allow your investors to modify certain aspects of the portfolio performance. This would not be the deal details but the items that are under the investor’s control:
- Invested Amount
- Your minimum investment may be $50,000, which you have configured for your landing page. However, the investor might want to invest $100,000. Giving them the ability to see what a different investment can do for them in the long run can benefit you. Illustrating a higher value can promote a higher investment.
- Additional Yearly Contributions
- This option allows investors to see what their portfolio could look like if they continuously invest in similar investments.
- Simulated Years
- We recommend using a standard of 3 times the investment length + 1 year to visualize the long-term investment performance best, but your investor might want to see what a longer or shorter time horizon can look like.
Allowing investors to adjust these settings can encourage them to commit more in a deal.
